1) In a public lecture,  a student need "self-study".  The lecturer isn't responsible for teaching the students detailedly.  The students are independent from the lecturers. The students are distant from the lecturer. <--- A public lecture is saying 500 students or above in a public hall.

2) In a private tutorial,  a student doesn't need self-study.  The tutor is responsible for teaching the students detailedly.  The students heavily depend on the tutors. The students are close to the tutor. <--- If it's less than 500 students in a venue,  it's still viewed as a private tutorial.

Me: Why didn't Mr. Chong get killed by Miuson ?

John: Miuson said, " Mr. Chong is distant from me. I let him be alive.".

Me: Wait a minute.  If Mr. Chong is distant from Miuson,  why didn't Mr. Chong confess that he is a spy?  

John: Correct. 

Me: If Mr. Chong deny that he is a spy,  Mr. Chong is close to Miuson.  In this case, Mr. Chong gotta get killed reasonably.

Bradley : Kill the students from a private tutorial,  e.g., Mr. Chong. He is close to you. 

Miuson : What make you feel so ?

Bradley : Mr. Chong kept saying to John's father, "I'm not a spy". If Mr. Chong is a student of public lecture and Mr. Chong is far from you, Mr. Chong would confess to John's father that he is a spy. Am I correct ?

Miuson : In fact,  Mr. Chong has confess to plenty hospital's colleagues that he is a spy.  Mr. Chong only "neglect" to confess to John's father that he was a "spy". 

Bradley : Neglect? Are you joking?  How many hospital's colleagues has Mr. Chong confessed to that Mr. Chong is a spy?

Miuson : 10 hospital's colleagues. 

Bradley look at the sky and take a deep sigh and say, 

Bradley : God. 10 hospital's colleagues only.  It's only a private tutorial.  Kill those 10 students from  the private tutorial as well cause they are close to you.

Me: Correct.  Why did Mr. Chong only let 10 hospital's colleagues know that he is a spy ? Why didn't Mr. Chong let your father know that he is a spy too? 

John : The answer is pretty simple. Because it's a private tutorial not public lecture. 

Me: During the incident of MERS,  Miuson represent his student,  Mr. Chong and 10 other hospital's colleagues,  to kill 1,000 civilians in Middle East.
