John : No,  don't leave it alone. There's no person called Ravi, however,  there's a person called Kelvin.  Kelvin is Miuson's students.  And, Mr. Lam is Kelvin's students.

John: Totally,  31 children got killed.

John : Those students mean Kelvin and Mr. Lam. 

Miuson : Oh! I'm sorry.  I misunderstood. 

John : No, you didn't misunderstand.  You pretend to misunderstand.  You mean to let your own students,  e.g., Kelvin and Mr. Lam,  live.  And, meanwhile,  you mean to let those non-Miuson students, e.g., the students of Sandy Hook elementary school,  die.
