John : Take a look. https://chihaukam.blogspot.com/2024/10/take-look-at-it_30.html?m=1 . It said,  " The distance is the same.  However,  the angle is different.  The more deviation from the central point,  the weaker the signal. ".

Me: Fine.

.

_______

.

John : Now, see the 1st picture.  It's a saw filter. Or, you might call it an interdigital filter.

Me: Ok.

.

___________

.

John : Now, see the 2nd picture.  A saw filter automatically form a central frequency.  The more deviation from the central frequency,  the lesser absorption.

Me: You mean,  the absorbed frequency can't be too high.  Nor can the absorbed frequency be too low.

John : Yes,.  I give you guys an example.

.

1) 3 mhz (Loss)

2) 2 mhz (Absorbed) [ Interdigital filter ] [Central frequency]

3) 1 mhz (loss)

.

Me: Only 2 mhz is absorbed. Why?

John : Because of the Angle. It's same at a radio emitter.
